Lance Armstrong 7 Time Yellow Jersey Winner at Tour De France (Tour De Lance)

People look in many places for inspiration. Some go to church, others a mosque. Some just like to throw the frisbee with their dog. In a time when I think we’ll all agree a little inspiration is needed, today is a great day for one man, and mankind as well.

The example that Lance Armstrong has just set for the entire world is beyond the accomplishments of 99% of all athletes who’ve ever lived. Many will argue that bicycle riding is not a “real sport”, but many are just idiotic fools too.

Considering I made a living on my bicycle for many years, I have lots of love for the good ol “Bike”. I was a pedicab driver, and a bicycle tour guide at Maui Mountain Riders in Maui Hawaii.

But my love for bikes is not why I’m so impressed with Lance. Lance Armstrong has battled through something that most of us will never have to go through. Tests revealed advanced testicular cancer that had spread to his lungs and his brain years ago. Do you think that stopped Lance nope.

He battled that cancer and beat it. That right there is the big story. Way to go Lance….but wait, hold up, that’s not even close to the end of the story. He decided to win 7, yes Seven, VII, Tour De Lance titles. You know your the man when they name the entire tour after you.

I’m not sure how many of you know the immense physical demand a bike ride like that takes?
Trust me, I used to pedal my ass off, sometimes with over 700 pounds in my trailer on my bike.
I know what I’m talking about. I doubt I could of beat Lance on a moped. That guy is amazing.

I can’t possibly think of a better thing to blog about today than Lance Armstrong. An inspiration, a champion, and a warrior. Way to go buddy. Yellow jersey all the way!!!!!

“I’m sorry you don’t believe in miracles. But this is a hell of a race,” he said. “You should believe in these athletes, and you should believe in these people. I’ll be a fan of the Tour de France for as long as I live. And there are no secrets — this is a hard sporting event and hard work wins it.” Lance Armstrong July 24th, 2005.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, my precious Customers! 2 Sales, bamm.

Well, I did it folks. I made that elusive $1 that I have been trying to achieve in Ed Dale’s “Underachiever, 30 Day Challenge”.

I feel like this is a Oscar speech. I’d like to thank the academy, ( oops, screw the academy) I wanna thank you, Bartek Roszak the Resell Pal….His help with my web design is the deciding in factor in why I made a sale this morning. Had it not been for him, I would have probably had some shotty site up that would of made sales conversions a much tougher task.

I’d also like to thank Ed Dale who even through a severe sickness has made sure to have a paved course for all of us Undies to follow. The information that I have learned from Ed in the past 24 days is undescribably. Add that to all the random things my open mind has stumbled across, and it’s a pretty giddy feeling. And just think, we have 6 days left. I’m going to be just as excited on day 30 as I was on Day 1. This stuff is just way too cool.

I’d also like to thank Frank Kern for sending me them Camtasia videos to me months ago. I think seeing those videos got me really hyped. I could barely sleep many nights just wondering how I could make some coin with Camtasia. Had I not somehow not stumbled across Frank’s mailing list, I probably would have missed the “30 Day Challenge”…

Big thanks to Dallas and Victoria Kelso for providing all the Undies with their awesome product “Merchant Flycatcher”. This software was really helpful to so many people, and we all appreciate the hard work and effort.

Thanks to all the Undies, every last one of you. We only got 6 days left, so let’s move it. We gotta make everyone of you a buck. Stay tuned for my undies rap continued.

I quit, through, done, over, well for 11 days or so.

Ok folks, I know I wanted to keep you all up to date on how my progress as a underachiever has been going. But to be honest, the more time I spend messing with this blog, that blog, the other blog, the gaming sites, this forum, that forum, the less time I have to make this single $1.

So sorry, podcasts are on hold, fooling around is on hold. I got to get this stuff done. The good news is I’m about 70% done with my product, and 1/2 of my sales letter is done. Did about 5 Camtasia Videos today. The second half should pretty much write itself hopefully.

My problem is I didn’t have much success with my flycatchers early on, but time was closing in, so I was forced to pick a topic or sit around dilly dallying with Google. Of course, as I have gone through with this topic, I have come across other niches that have become great blossoming flowers, but I just don’t have the time to materialize those projects into $1 at this point. So, I’m going full throttle on this idea, and will finish it in time to make a buck. I would have loved to outsource it, but just don’t feel comfortable letting someone else dictate my success with a 30 day timeline. I’d hate to have to pull some excuse saying “but my Elance guy…….”.

Know what I’m saying?

I really can’t wait to go through the Undies process on these other ideas. It’s gonna be a fun summer.

Sorry, I’ve been lagging

Okay, I’ve been slacking on this blog, and I apologize. I know many of you were watching my “Undies” progress, and I have not lived up to my promise of 30 podcasts in 30 days so far.
Well, hey, I could do 4 a day and I would be caught up right?

Well, that’s not what is important. What is important, is me finising this project. Being that we are on day 18, I have to continue with what I have started. I have some better niches to work with, but they are stuck back at about day 3. This is fine though, really, because I’m more concerned with the process, and I’ll have all the time in the world to perfect those other Undie sites I have brewing up.

So, for now, I need to get to work finishing up this Ebook, Some Camtasias, and some Podcasts, and O boy, my Salesletter, that’s gonna be a fun one.

Once again, sorry for the lack of Podcasts. I just learned how to do podcasting in a much more efficient manner, and hope to have something to share with you tomorrow.

Day 8 & 9 Undies Month (Hey Google, Quit Putting my Word “On Hold”)

Well day 8 and 9 have been interesting for myself as I try to scrape the pieces together of failed fly catcher campaigns. The one positive thing about all these failures is that I’m learning Google Ad words quite well through the process. It’s actually the failures combined with the “Google Cash” videos that are helping. I need to read some more Perry Marshall stuff, and try to stay on top on this Google game.

That’s really what it is, a game. Trial and error, error, error, error, wait, I got one.
Woo hoo, now lets expand on that small bit of accomplishment and chisel it down until we can’t widdle any more profits out of that little keyword.

Well good news is, I’ve created a bunch of blogs…. This bloggen stuff is way cool and it only takes a few seconds to have them up and running. I get to chat around with all kinds of people about all kinds of things that I am into. Here is a blog i created last night. http://heavenlyguitars.blogspot.com
This one should be fun.

Well anyways, peep Podcast 8-9 on my Undies Month progress.

(Day 5) Review day, nope it’s jam day with Signified Monkey

Okay today’s Underachiever task was to analyze Fly Catcher results. Well, mine sucked so I won’t bore you.

Instead, I would like to share a song with you. Listen to todays Podcast, and the song Life right here. I came across this tape today, and it brought a smile to my face. So considering today is a slow news day in the underachiever world, I thought I would share a bit of good ol fashion music with ya. This song was put together about 8 or 9 years ago when I was in a band called “Signified Monkey” . Signified Monkey

Pictured from left to right is, Mark, Yours Truly, Officer D, and Yacub.

I miss these guys, and miss making cool music. Leaving this band was one of the worst things I ever did in my entire life. O well, I still got this cool tape to listen to. The recording is a bit ghetto. I just put a mic next to the boom box, and bam uploaded it. However, it still sounds ok, but I posted my lyrics for ya so you could read along if you like instead of trying to burying your ear into your speaker.
(2x)
It’s the mellow fellow, love the yellow of the sun,
and the brightness of the rays guarantees a day of mad fun.
Photosynthesize before my eyes as I breath,
this elegant aroma released by these trees.
So luxurious the mixture of nature with the people,
to achieve that smile treat your mother earth as equal.
Balance is essential to that healthy living quarters,
keep smiling and stylen and obey your moral orders.

A trip up 26 to acrobatic with some tricks
as we be riding and gliding through the powder and the sticks.
Broke as hell so I fell short on admission,
but I play that incognito role to avoid the suspicion.
Indulge into existance so I’m liven kinda swell,
much persistance and practice, I begin to show and tell.
It be prolifically explicit, and easily expressed,
endless capacities of intellect I can’t surpress.
So I emblelish, that hellish like vibe within,
as I captivate your mind to be orgasmically climatic.
Don’t need your static, leave your “toys in the attic”,
Boy, “sweet emotions” arise from being intelligently charismatic.
Packen more flavors than that Kool Aid man,
I tell stories for the kiddies, cuz I’m that sincere man.
Significantly dignified to evade practicality,
and attracting abstract minds to explore a new reality.

I love my girlfriend, hmm asparagus, cauliflower, taters!!

If you’ve never heard me mention how much I love my girlfriend Alison, let it be heard now. Just take a gander at this delicious plate of grub, hmmmmm. One of the coolest things about getting a computer was the ability to get online and find all kinds of cool recipes. dinnerAlison scours all over the web finding cool vegetarian, and vegan recipes that will quickly make you forget your desire for meat. I think my favorite recipe site is Veg Web.
That site rocks………

Well besides me loving her for her cooking (ok call me a chauvenist), she is one damn sexy librarian, ohh, and really smart too. It’s nice to have a lady who can compete with you when Alex Trebeck starts kicking out the Jeopardy answers.

What I love about Alison the most though is the fact that she let’s me do my own thing on this computer, and never bitches. She works 2 jobs, goes to school, cooks, (wow I sound like an ass) and I chill on the computer all day making slave wages.

Fortunately she believes in me, and has been willing to stand by my side for quite some time allowing me the ability to help us retire someday. That’s right, retirement. My main motivation for being on this computer 12 hours or more a day is so Alison will be able to never again serve a dinner as a waitress, and will never have to send our future children to a nanny or day care. Heck if not for her, I would not even have a computer.

Damn I love this girl………………………alisonandjmo
