The Internet Marketing Kegger In San Diego Sept 29th & 30th

UPDATE:  CLICK HERE FOR CURRENT UPDATE!

Aloha friends,

This event is more then passed due. Feel free to invite your friends to this page. Digg it, Delicious it, or whatever social bookmarking tool you use if you like. Everyone is invited!

Let’s face it, most of us attend internet marketing events for the networking and joint venture opportunities. It’s not too often we are all excited about the content. Seriously, pitch fests BLOW!

So here’s my solution…

That’s right. 100% networking in style!

Who doesn’t want to kick back on the beach all weekend with a tasty beverage in hand while mingling with a bunch of other like minded folks? This event is gonna rule! (Even if only 5 people show up, MORE BEER FOR US).

So here’s the deal…

The exact date of the Internet Marketing Kegger will be on Sept 29th and 30th. It will be in Pacific Beach San Diego just north of the pier a bit. I’ll give more details on this thread in just a few days.

This blog will be home base for info on the event. So keep your eyes peeled. In the next few days I’ll upload a video showing you all the cheap hotels in the area and do everything to make sure you don’t have to spend much money at all to attend.

VERY IMPORTANT: NO MINORS CAN BE IN THE GROUP AND DRINKING!

Please don’t try to ruin it for responsible adults. Also, the event is set up so no one has to drive anywhere. Everything in close in walking distance and there should be no reason to have to drive.

I’ll have a few more concrete details in just days. However I wanted to finalize the dates so people could prepare now.

Keep in mind, the event is FREE.

But a couple rules…

1. Absolutely No Glass On The Beach

2. No Minors drinking

3. You can’t be lame!

Look forward to seeing you all there and dishing out some more specific details soon.

Cheers,

Jason

PS: Please reply to the thread and let me know if you are coming. I’d like to get a good idea of exactly what we are dealing with here.

Also, bring some snacks!

Is Web 2.0 A Scam? Vegetarian Dishes Out The Truth In “The Meat Report”.

jason moffatt's meat report

Hey there friends,

This post is sure to stir a few feathers as I have hundreds of friends trying to make money with web2.0 right now. Also, I have a dozen other friends marketing web2.0 materials as well.

However, I’m convinced that 95% or more are doing it totally wrong and completely wasting their time. Yep, I said it… Web2.0 is a WASTE OF TIME for the majority of people.

Now I will admit I do know a few smart ninjas that are using it to their advantage brilliantly. But the the majority of people are running around like mad lab rats, spamming the internet, and have no clue about the 1 major skill that is needed online.

You see, you can have all the traffic in the world, but if you are a shitty salesman you’re screwed. No amount of traffic, links, or social bookmarks are going to do jack shit for you if your offers are not compelling.

Now listen, when I wrote this “Meat Report” it was not intended for internet newbies. I know there are tons of people just trying to get their whistle wet and make their first few bucks online. That’s fine. Do whatever you gotta do to make a few bucks.

But for those that are serious about making tons of cash online, I’m here to tell you… “You are wasting your time with Web2.0 massively”.

And my explanation makes perfect sense for those that sit down and listen to the message.

You see…

I learned right away from master salesman like John Carlton, Gary Halbert, and Frank Kern that the most important thing you could ever posses online is the skill of being a “Master Salesman”. Sadly, most internet marketing newbies just forget all about this step and think they can succeed.

Listen, if you can’t craft compelling sales messages you have a few options…

1. Learn (My upcoming Easy Video Sales will teach you)

2. Hire someone (The good guys don’t come cheap. I charge minimum $5000 for a salesletter and you’d be damn lucky if you got that price.)

3. Go get a real job.

Seriously, if you can’t write copy online you are toast. Every thing you do online is copy. Your emails are copy, your blog posts are copy, and your forum posts are copy.

Sadly most people wade in the pool of mediocrity. And unless you decide to get off your ass and start swimming in the deep end, you’ll always be a follower, chaser, and pipe dreamer. The real cash is made by movers, shakers, and master salesman… Not people screwing off with the latest fads like Web2.0.

Wanna know why Web2.0 is a waste of time for most people?

All you have to do is click the link below and visit the FREE “Meat Report”.

Click Here To Access The Free Meat Report.

Cheers,

Jason

PS: Would love to hear your feedback on your web2.0 efforts and whether or not you are really getting maximum value or not. Just maybe you are in that small 5%.

Don Lapre – I Started In My One Bedroom Aparment Placing Small, Tiny, Classified Ads

I’ve always loved watching infomercials.  It’s probably because I’m attracted to the hype and enthusiasm that’s injected into the characters on film.  They just crack me up.  Especially the Real Estate Midgets.  They’re classic!

I remember when I was about 16 and I first saw Don Lapre’s infomercial about “Placing Small Classified Ads In Tons Of Newspapers”.  And heck, if he did it from his 1 bedroom apartment, then surely I could do it out of my mothers basement.

Crazy ideas never escaped my mind as a kid.  I’ve been hustling since I was about 11 years old. So naturally, I thought Don Lapre was the lord and savior the first time I saw him at 2:30 AM on tv.  This dude was gonna make me rich I thought.

Luckily for me, instead of buying his “System” I found someone who already owned it.  I spent all night at their house tearing through the contents.  Whew!  Sure glad I didn’t buy that trash!  But in hindsight, hey, placing a shitload of ads can make you a ton of cash.  So who am I to talk trash.  Maybe Lapre was on to something.

Somehow I think I’ve got better things to do then calling up Nickel Ads in Omaha though.

Anyways, my friend Shaan just forwarded me this video from Youtube about Don Lapre.  It’s pretty damn funny!  Check it out…

Internet Branding: Are Marketers Forgetting Internet Branding?

When I say “Traffic” many people think about John Reese.

When I say “Copywriting” many people think about John Carlton, Clayton Makepeace, or Gary Halbert.

When I say “Adsense” many people think about Joel Comm.

When I say “Adwords” many think about Perry Marshall.

All these guys have something very important in common, and that is “Internet Branding“. Their names are plastered across the internet in their respective fields and people know they are the “Go To Guys” in those particular areas.

So many marketers drop the ball when it comes to internet branding. If you ask the average marketer what their brand is, they will look as if you just ask them to compute the square root of 4932 in their head. Most simply have no idea what their internet brand is.

Since the first day I got on the internet I thought about what I wanted my brand to be. I consciously made a effort for 2 years to make sure people remembered my name, face, and all the wacky stuff I’ve done online. While much of it was just drunken improv stuff, I have purposely orchestrated much of my brand image with a specific agenda in mind…

I want people to say… “Damn that guy has lot’s of fun”.

or…

“Holy crap, I can’t believe that guy just did that”.

I love to shock and awe people! But mostly, I just like to make others laugh. After laughter, it is my goal to help people make as much money as humanly possible. However, laughter or fun is always my number one priority.

Ask any marketer… “Who has the most fun online”? … and I bet you have a hard time finding many people that get as many votes as I. I’m not trying to toot my own horn here, but FUN and IDIOCY have become my Internet Brand.

Yesterday we were having a great chat about branding over at Michel Fortin’s Copywriters Board. One of my favorite members, Mr. Subtle decided to make one of his classic toons describing what he thought my internet brand was. Here was his submission…

jason moffatt internet branding

Mr. Subtle’s perception of my brand is pretty damn accurate. Once I saw this graphic, I just had to load it up.

While it’s incredibly sophomoric, childish, and downright idiotic, that’s my internet brand. Am I’m damn proud of it.

Because beyond all the hustle and bustle of the internet work we do, everyone just wants to have a bit of fun. That’s been my motto since day 1. And luckily for me, it helps to resonate with people from all over the world.

Recently Frank Kern and I sat back and had a bit of fun with a video camera and recorded about 13 videos in his Secret Headquarters Hideout. It’s kind of like the Bat Cave for Internet Marketers. Those videos were the inspiration for the graphic above.

You can see what I’m talking about at…

http://www.easyvideosales.com/Frank_Kern_&_Jason_Moffatt.html

Frank and I go off about Internet Marketing in total Beavis and Butthead fashion.

Now kiddies, that’s what I call “Internet Branding”!

The Rich Jerk Mastermind & Playboy Mansion Party

Howdy readers,

During the last couple of months there has been tons of controversy brewing over the infamous Rich Jerk and his latest shindig at The Playboy Mansion. Now I understand that the Playboy image may not be everyone’s cup of tea. Different strokes for different folks.

Let me give you fair warning to leave the blog right now before you scroll down any further. Because if you do scroll down, you may be totally violated by sexy women and men having a great time.

But before we get to that, I want to thank, congratulate, and give all out praise to RJ and my main man Magic Ryan. For those of you that don’t know Magic Ryan, he is one of my very close buddies who helps The Rich Jerk run his elaborate operation.

Magic Ryan is a guy who seriously gets shit done! Not only is he a workhorse of a partner, but this guy is just an amazing all around friend, great family man, and an overwhelmingly generous soul. magic ryan playboy mansion (I stole this picture from my friend Rachel Rofe’s blog. She’s such a sweetie)

The party RJ and Ryan put together at the Playboy Mansion was one for the record books. And despite what all the whine bags say, I’m damn proud I went and promoted the event. These guys busted their asses so incredibly hard for months and months and months to make this happen.

Care to guess how much profit they made? Zilch, nada, nothing, none! It was a charity event. But truth be told, these guys spent eons of time putting this together. They could of easily just of spent the time kicking ass and making millions of dollars in sales instead of dinking around with a Playboy party.

I gotta give it to these guys. The party was classy, provocative, and not too sleazy. Sure there was nudity around but it wasn’t a weird vibe or one that was uncomfortable for mature adults. In fact, I would of easily taken my mother to the party and we both would of had a blast. The vibe was just perfect! I don’t think it could of been any better.

In attendance was a variety of internet marketers, pick up artists guru’s Mystery, Style, and Matador, ton’s of beautiful ladies, Playboy bunnies, Pauly Shore, Mad Mike, and Mr. Don’t Be Cruel… Bobby Brown!

All around it was a great mix of different people, young and old, single and married, naked and clothed. Heck, even Willie Crawford’s wife was having fun! So despite what your preconceived notions may have been about the Playboy Mansion, I can tell you it’s not a super bad place where you will go to hell if you are caught having fun there.

However, I may go to hell for posting these photo’s below. I did make a few edits with a nice RJ smiley so I can at least get a decent room when I check into hell.

Well, here’s to a bunch of more unsubscribes from my list…

Jason Moffatt Playboy Mansion Rich Jerk Party

Listen, I could of been a bit more conservative and only showed you the rated PG-13 pictures, but cmon, let’s face it.  This is what the people really wanted.

And to be honest, there aren’t many marketers that are willing to stick there necks out like this and take one for the team.  Therefore, I figured as usual, I’ll be the guy to do what 99% of the others won’t.

As always, HAVE FUN!

J-Mo

Rest In Peace Spence Singleton

During the last year I’ve employed a variety of content writers. The best one among them all was Spence Singleton. Hands down, he was the best of the best.

Not only was the writing superb, but Spence went above and beyond what I’d ever expected from him. Even more important, Spence was a genuinely nice dude that I enjoyed working with.

He was focused on making a living from his writing and was not afraid of some hard work. In fact, he may of even worked too hard at times. I remember just days after him being severely wounded from a drunken driver he was insistent on trying to finish some articles while in the hospital so he could try to take care of his wife and kids.

Sadly, Spence has passed away the other day.
I feel insanely bad for his wife, recently born daughter, and the rest of his family. I can’t even imagine the heartbreak they must feel right now.

I seen Spence on Skype the other day and was just about to ring him up and say hi. Something distracted me, and I missed my chance to talk to him one last time. A few days later, he’s not even alive.

Spence,

You were a good dude. I really liked you alot man.

May you be in a peaceful place pal.

The Power Of Online Video Is Beyond Powerful, It’s Life Changing

Dear friends,

In the last couple of weeks I’ve had tremendous success in a variety of areas by using online videos.  Those of you who saw my last blog post can see how effective a sincere message shot in front of the camera can be.  It’s really beyond powerful.

Online video is definitely here to stay and is going to continue in popularity everyday.  However, most people have no idea how to get their videos online, and are scared of the entire process.

However, Easy Web Video solves that problem for you.

So does FLV Producer.

Now most people don’t have a hard time getting a video up onto Youtube or Google video.  While these resources are great and free, they are a bit limited.  Plus, they have traffic leakage that you will miss out on.

I’ve been getting flooded with emails from people eagerly awaiting my “Easy Video Sales” class coming out very, very soon.  Many people all want to know…

“What do you use to get your videos online”?

When I’m not using Youtube for screwing around or trying to just get a quick message out to the public, I use 2 things…

1. Easy Web Video.     You can click here to check out Easy Web Video and see just how damn easy it is.

2. FLV Producer.         You can click here to check out FLV Producer as well.  (This one is probably my favorite).

Anyone who is serious about online video should probably pick up one of these two programs that makes life a whole lot easier.  If you pick up FLV Producer, shoot me a email and I’ll hook you up with a video tutorial I did on how simple it is to use.

It’ s a piece of cake.  Once again, here are the 2 options I think you should consider…

1. Easy Web Video

2. FLV Producer

Take care and enjoy.

Easy Video Sales Is About To Launch To The General Public Soon

Good day friends,

For the last few months I have been busting my ass on a project I call “Easy Video Sales“. I’ve poured a ton of work into this course, and I strongly believe that this material will genuinely help people to achieve jason moffatt's easy video sales boxa massive boost in their online income.

Ever since I’ve been marketing online, videos have by far been my “Weapon Of Choice”. I honestly think that I could spank just about any copywriter who writes a long copy salespage with one of my simplistic videos.

Yep, that’s a pretty ballsy claim! No doubt about it. But I’m always up for the challenge if the price is right.
I’ll admit, I may have some troubles trying to sell in the medical field, or some area that is “too professional”. For instance, I’d probably bomb trying to do a stock trading video salesletter. I don’t know a damn thing about that niche. However, for the most part I’m 100% confident that I could crush just about any copywriters plain text with my videos.

But don’t be fooled. Just because videos are so powerful doesn’t mean that you can totally neglect copywriting. You still gotta have some writing chops to be successful. Video alone won’t always do the trick. You still have to send emails, ask people to click a order button, and create call to actions. All this is still copy and very important if you want to make the sale.

Luckily for you I have teamed up with 8 World-Class Copywriters to help distribute content along side of my videos. Each of these guru’s takes you step-by-step through the process of writing each element of a salesletter, and I teach you the video magic.

It’s a lethal combo that I know you’ll love.

Yesterday I decided to leak a few videos in advance of the Easy Video Sales launch. These clips consist of me and my pal Frank answering questions that people have about online video.

They are totally free to watch, and all you have to do is click the link below…

Click Here For The Frank & J-Mo Video Clips

Enjoy,

J-Mo
