"On The Road Again"

This is probably one of the toughest messages I’ve ever had to write.

Lately, I’ve been doing better then ever (or so I thought).

I’m making more money then ever, meeting more friends then ever, and learning more then can fit in my brain.

But while all this stuff is going so incredibly well, one particular thing is in SHAMBLES!

Please listen, and read carefully.

I’m not selling anything in this blog post.

In fact, it’s been selling so much that has lead me to this miserable point.

You see, even though it would appear I’m living on cloud nine right now, things are just the opposite.

And it’s hit me like a ton of bricks.

I want you to seriously pay attention to this message because I pray this never happens to you. While I’ve been working away, counting my money, and focusing on my business, I’ve been making one crucial error.

I’ll admit, I’m a total idiot.

Money doesn’t mean jack shit to me if I don’t have my partner by my side. And because of my neglect, and total immersion into the internet my relationship is suffering.

And suffering bad.

So bad that my lady is pretty much done with me and thinks that I don’t love her or have time for her in my life.

I can’t even remotely tell you how sad this makes me. It’s like the worst kick in the gut ever.

But listen,

This post is not to gain your sympathy, or to feel sorry for me in any way. Please don’t.

I just want to mention this because I know there may be some others out there that are in the same boat. No amount of money is worth losing loved ones over.

And because I’ve been so focused on helping others and myself make money, I’ve made myself the poorest man on the planet.

Without the love of my life, I’m dead broke, regardless of how much money is flooding my bank account. Because my priorities are so ass backwards, I could lose everything I hold dear.

There’s a saying that I know you’ve heard many times…

“You don’t know what you got til it’s gone”.

Ain’t that the truth?

Because of my total ignorance I could lose everything valuable to me. I can always get new cars, new material goods, and more money. Heck, I can even get all kinds of new women if I want.

But I want the one I got!

And if I don’t shape up, she’s out the door.

I’m sorry for venting to you like this, but I desperately don’t want this to ever happen to you too.

So if you are lucky enough to have a loved one by your side, please make sure you take the time to let them know they are appreciated and loved.

Turn off that computer an hour early and set aside that time for your spouse. I’d hate for you to have to experience the kind of days I’ve had in the last 48 hours.

I’m not wanting sympathy, or anything like that. I just figured I need to give some people and explanation about what I’m about to do.

I’M TAKING A 2 WEEK BREAK

Right now there is only one thing important to me, and that is saving my relationship and family. Therefore I’m going to close down Easy Video Sales to the public and relaunch it in about 2 weeks.

I’ll also be making some changes to laser target the needs of all the members and affiliates. I’m thinking of breaking the course into 2 chunks, because it’s a bit confusing dealing with “Video” and “Copywriting”.

Ultimately I need to make it the very best for customers and affiliates, and I think these changes will probably be best for everyone.

But even beyond that, I need to fix things around the house first.

I felt I needed to send this email out because of the dozens of affiliates that are about to mail out for the Easy Video Sales course. All I’m asking is for you to hold tight for about 2 weeks before mailing. I will let you know when we are back up and rolling.

If you are one of the dozens of existing members that has signed up, please give me 2 weeks to get things in order.

Thank you so much for helping us out with the initial testing phase of Easy Video Sales. We are delighted with the results and all the new members. I promise to come back stronger then ever and we’ll kick ass with our mastermind team as soon as I take a bit of time off.

This computer is seriously KILLING ME, and I almost thought about throwing it in the trash for all the pain it has caused me today.

Seriously, I even considered just retiring from internet marketing all together. But I don’t think that is actually going to do anyone any good.

So, please go hug your loved ones and remember that no computer, or all the money in the world could ever replace them.

Yep, I said it… FACEBOOK SUCKS!

Listen, I understand that Facebook may be growing like a Barry Bonds bicep on steroids. And sure, every marketer and their mother is touting how Facebook is the next best thing. But I’m here to you tell that in my opinion that site sucks more balls then a $30 prostitute in need of a crack rock fix.

Here’s my beef with Facebook…

It’s got so many modules and applications that the whole damn thing is confusing as hell. Sure, if you are a 9th grade lad who has all the time in the world to read… “Johnny sent you Vampire Invitation” or “Bonnie sent you a Naughty Request” then I can understand why you may like Facebook.

But I’m no high school kid with all the time in the world to read pointless messages. Yes, pointless, annoying, irrelevant to me making money messages! Please stop sending them.

If you want to be my friend fine. Just add me.

But for the life of god please don’t send me a damn Beer on Facebook. Seriously, don’t even think of sending me a digital beer that I can’t even drink!

Personally I want to make a application that “Throws Beer In Your Face” every time someone sends me a beer that I can’t even drink. You might as well send me a half rack of warm Milwaukee’s Best to my doorstep, because it’s going to end up in the same place… The Trash!

If you want to send me a beer, buy a nice case of imported beer and send it to my house. Or buy me one at a seminar, but don’t send me one on Facebook. What a waste of time! And hey, if you send beer to my house, guess what the chance of me sending a affiliate promotion for you would be? DING DING DING, probably about 100% most of the time.

But when you send me irrelevant garbage on Facebook that just confuses me, wastes my time, and annoys the hell out of me what do you think you get?

That’s right, a big WTF?

Listen, I don’t hate these social networking sites. In fact, I love Myspace. Myspace is chill because I don’t get 9000 different people sending me bullshit that I can’t do anything with. Myspace does a great job of cutting down spam and making things really simple.

Facebook on the other hand has so many idiots creating applications that should be taken out back and shot like Old Yeller! Why in the hell would I want to join a group called “Magic 8 Ball Group” or “People Who Wear Crocs Suck”?

Can somebody say total waste of time?

Not only is it a waste of time, but it’s polluting what could be a decent site. Facebook, you blow. Your application developers blow, and most of the users blow too!

Boy, can you tell how much I love Facebook.

So please don’t ask me to “write on your wall”, join your “dragon group” or any other juvenile garbage that goes on in Facebook. If you want to have a legitimate talk, let’s talk. But contacting me about joining your high schoolish lame group is not the way to get my attention.

Okay, I think you get my feelings about Facebook.

However, I will say if you are a developer and you have half a brain left in your noggin, Facebook can be killer. I know a guy who built a app and has over 1,000,000 users download it. I think it has about 5000 or so active users everyday.

It’s a module that is cool, and serves a purpose. It’s not some lame “come join our Donkey Show Secrets Group”.

So Facebook does have some potential in my mind, but only if you are a developer who is creating something useful that others really want to use.

But if you are just one of the herd, spending your time running around joining this group and joining that group, and sending me fake ass beers I’m here to say in my best “Chris Crocker” voice…

“Leave Jason Moffatt Alone! He’s A Human Being”.

So Facebook users, treat me like a human being, not some random target who you think might want to join your group about picking Dingleberries out of my ass!

Hey folks,

Whew, what a week. I just got back into town after spending a bit of time in Los Angeles for Eben Pagan’s “Get Altitude” seminar and a bit of “Get Loose” time.

Get loose time is basically closing down the bar every night, partying like a rock star, and making sure you are having more fun then humanly possible. For instance, stealing a 5th of Jack Daniels Whiskey from Neil Strauss’s liquor cabinet just because we wanted something to drink in the cab for the ride back to the hotel could be lumped into “Get Loose Time”.

I could go on and on about the crazy shenanigans of the week. It’s probably wise not too though. Amazingly, I actually did do a bit of work and networked my ass off. Some great things were set into place for the near future, and hopefully you will be able to take advantage of them.

If you are a regular reader of my blog you know that I’ve been busting my tail on a product called “Easy Video Sales”. I’ve been teasing people all month saying I’m going to launch any day. Sorry guys. Truth is, I’m just minutes away from pushing the “publish” button and letting this thing go live. I just have a few personal issues around the house to get in order and we will be live and taking orders.

I could go live tonight, but think Wednesday may be the magic day.

Here’s the great news…

Easy Video Sales is going to be way more then just some product. In fact, it’s going to be a yearly mastermind group that will work together to achieve some amazing results over the next year.

I’ve decided that I’m going to dedicate a good chunk of my time to the members and really help them get off the ground. Because I’m doing this, a few things will change in my business…

First of all, I want to apologize if you have had a hard time getting ahold of me. Between the hundreds and hundreds of emails that pour in, private messages on forums, and phone calls it is literally impossible for me to tend to every request. I don’t mean to ignore anyone, but it’s only humanly possible to do so many things in a day.

Therefore I’m doing a few things so people who really need my attention can get it. Right away, effective today I’m raising my rates for personal phone coaching & questions. Most of you probably don’t know this, but I do help clients over the phone on occasion and through email/IM chat. However, because of overwhelming demand I can only do this on a very limited basis.

My new fee is $300 an hour for personal 1 on 1 time. I’m sorry if this feels steep to you, but I have to put a price on my time. I have no other option, otherwise I lose cash. And for some situations, this fee is a steal to some of you. You know who you are.
So please don’t take offense if I ever have forgot to reply to your message or email. I didn’t mean it personally and it’s just too time consuming to reach everyone.

However, I’ve decided to do something remarkable with my Easy Video Sales group over the next year. If you get in during the next month or so, you’ll be part of my new “Video Mastermind Group” and will have access to me for the full year. No $300 hourly fees, or sending emails that get no reply.

All Easy Video Sales members will get direct access to me in the “Mastermind Section” and will have the opportunity to meet and greet with others in the community. This is my way of giving attention to those that really need it, and step up and take action.

I can’t wait to let you folks into the members area. Therefore, I should probably quit typing here and finish up the project already. Keep your eyes peeled, we are about to go live very quick.

That’s a good questions, especially since I’m dubbed a “PLF Expert” by Jeff Walker himself. What I’m doing is a bit different. I am going to slowly roll this thing out so we can add members at a decent pace. I personally don’t want to be overloaded.

This isn’t about making the most amount of money I can in a day. This is a Mastermind Group that is built for longevity throughout the year. The Easy Video Sales course is beyond just the next great product that fizzles out after a month.

The launch will be a rolling launch over the next couple of months so I can give personal attention to JV partners and those who want to get on board.
