James Devon’s “Eye Guitar” Rules! Learned Greensleeves

James Devon has a winner!

This guys site is awesome. Awesome for guitars players, and awesome for marketers to pay attention to as well.

Just for the record, I don’t know the dude. Never talked to him, nor emailed him. This is just a 100% unsolicited testimonial for a guy who’s product I think kick’s ass!

His website is called “Eye Guitar” and can be found at www.eyeguitar.com

So here’s why I’m making this post…

I’ve fiddled with the guitar for about 12 years. Never taken it seriously though. In fact, I pretty much couldn’t. My ADHD kept me from ever learning a entire song during those dozen years. Sure, I could bust a few licks, but could never play a whole song.

Tragic :(

And I’m no good at jammin with other bro’s. Even more sad :(

Learning to read guitar tabs, or even worse, real music notations, scared the hell out of me. I’d rather just flip my wrist around and play some porno funk on the wah wah peddle for a few minutes. Then play some Xbox.

It’s tough for me to settle down and force myself to learn. I’ve tried all kinds of guitar courses and they all last about 20 minutes max. Then I’m frustrated.

Well Mr. Devon’s site was different. It was the first time I actually sat through a whole lesson and learned it. And for me, that’s alot. So I’d like to thank James Devon for offering an amazing product at a stunning price.

I’d have to say it was hands down the best money I’ve ever spent on the internet. I feel marketers should pay attention to how this dude provides value. It’s amazing. I’d buy from this guy all day long now, even if he overcharges!

So, I’m sure I botched part of the song a bit, and the timing, but F&*K it! Here you go…

Google Googles For Adwords PPC Marketing

The future’s so bright, I gotta where Google Goggles!

Google Goggles Pay Per Click Adwords Tool

So my buddies Larry and Amish, and Matt are bringing you an incredible pay per click tool called “The Google Goggles“.

I’ve been using these things for the last couple weeks, and I can tell you it’s pretty stellar.

Think the days of cheap pay per click are over?

Ha, not by a long shot. I was able to load up cheap campaigns and Google continues to love the pages I’ve built. Thanks to the Google Goggles.

Anyhow, here’s a short 9 minute video I did with Amish a few minutes ago. His audio is a bit low (my bad) but we talk a bit about PPC and the Google Goggles.

Oh, and you gotta check out this Matt Trainer Dancing video where he tears apart Frank Kern’s website. Yeah, the same website that he himself built.

Here it is…

http://putonyourgoggles.com/mofo-says-franks-site-sucks/

Trainer is a gangster flash designer. Don’t ask him to do your site, he charges like $80 Billion dollars and wants personal foot massages and stuff.

Anyhow, here is the page for Google Goggles…

http://www.jasonmoffatt.com/goggles/

And here’s the video I just did with Amish.

Peace,

J-Mo

PS: Amish announced that those that get access below will get a FREE Hexatrack account too! This is one sick gift. Seriously, grab these tomorrow…

More Goodies Hit The Mailbox Today

Wow, I’m on a roll.

Currently I’m getting about 4 to 5 gifts a week via Fed Ex, UPS, and United States Postal Service.

I used to have the philosophy that “No mail was good mail”, but lately, I’ve been getting some really kick ass mail.

For instance, just today I was bitching about my autoresonder and list management service Aweber being down. It was down for maybe an hour, and probably didn’t cause too much loss. It was still a hassle though. But then, I went to the post office box and noticed they sent me…. wait, get this… they sent me “SOCKS”.

Yep, Aweber Socks. Have a peak…

Aweber socks

Also,

The other night while doing my live 24 hour Ustream broadcast I let viewers peak in on how I disturb the Xbox faithful who play Nascar. I have this little trick that I do that really pisses people off.

It goes a little something like this…

You’re racing against 7 other people live from around the world. They are very competitive and they all want to win. And they are all really good too.

Me, I suck at the game. But that doesn’t mean I can’t have the most amount of fun. So here’s what I do…

I wait until the last lap when everyone is jockeying for position and trying to win the race. Just then, I flip a bitch (that’s a 180 degree turn for those of you not into ghetto slang) and I proceed to drive the wrong direction. As soon as the pack of cars is approaching the finish line and trying to beat each other for first place, good ol J-Mo comes in the reverse direction and does a head on collision.

It’s some of the funniest shit you’ll ever see on Xbox. And O-Boy do that players get pissed. They start yelling and screaming at me, all while I down another beer and laugh at being the spoiler.

Anyhow, until today I’ve never been able to participate in the verbal sparring going on during the game. Well that’s changed, because my buddy Geo Derice sent me this Xbox headset via UPS today.

xbox headset mic

Those Xbox sucka’s are so dead now that I gotta mic. Thanks Geo! You the man!

Peace,

J-Mo

For Those That Missed Frank Kern’s Mass Control – Update

Okay, here’s a post launch update on Frank Kern’s “Mass Control” launch.

My email box is crammed with people saying… “Dude, I didn’t get in”, or… “I’m so pissed, I couldn’t get the page to load”, and a variety of other angry messages from those that didn’t get the chance to get Frank’s stuff.

It’s easy to understand their frustration when the order page was pulled down less then 15 minutes after noon. But when something is gone, it’s gone.

Yesterday, I made a few tongue in cheek jokes about Frank’s inability to do simple math and that he could of sold 5000 of these things easily if he just left the order page open a few more hours. I was puzzled why he did not. After a awesome celebration dinner at Nobu last night and some detailed grilling sessions, I now understand why.

Sure, Frank could of pulled in a few more thousand orders. However, that would inevitably SWAMP his staff. If his staff gets swamped, they can’t adequately take care of the first 2000 existing customers. Ever tried to take care of 2000 customers? Give it a try sometime.

Yes, he could hire more people, but that takes training, and a lot of work to get trustworthy and effective people in place. So, after discussing this with him, I think he made a good move. The last thing he would want is not being able to serve his customers in a timely fashion.

And, he did say the entire time that this was a “marketing test”.

John Reese made a great post on the Warrior Forum stating just this. He said…

I know this may come as a ’shocker’…

But Frank was just doing exactly what he said he was doing. He was running a TEST. The reason why he didn’t pay a ton to print up 10,000+ of those packages is because this exact offer for him is UNPROVEN. It’s very risky. (Especially with the “you don’t even have to send it back” guarantee.)

It’s very possible that Frank could end up losing money on this whole thing. And if he had offered it to more people the losses could really add up. So I think he did the smart thing and offered it to a decent size to give it a test. I’m sure if the stick rate makes it profitable then he’ll do it again with a much higher limit.

But again, this is another one of those marketing events where people are looking for things that don’t even exist. Sometimes it’s not that complicated. As I said, in this case, it’s simply a test. There wasn’t some calculated evil scheme to quickly throw up a “SOLD OUT” sign so it would generate more money for some “Stage II” sneaky plan that’s being cooked up. He did a great job on the marketing, created a huge buzz and demand, and tons of people took him up on the great offer quickly. That’s the ONLY reason it had that result.

-John Reese

And I can testify, Frank was purely testing this offer. He had no idea how well it would do, and still has no clue. After the first round of billing the test results will become much more clearer.

From the periphery, it looks like a massive success. But there are a ton of things behind the scenes that many of you don’t see. So time will tell. Of course, Kern is going to be fine, rich, and surfing everyday regardless. And hopefully one day he will open this offer back up. I don’t know. And he wouldn’t give a definitive answer last night.

He’s a patient guy. He’s also a very fair guy. And despite me making fun of him for bad math skills, he’s a freaking wizard when it comes to making money. I guess many of the affiliates just wanted to keep on seeing the sales pile in.

Anyhow, awesome job Frank (as usual). And I’m sorry for any of you that missed the chance to get in yesterday.

I will be sure to update you on any possibility of Frank opening this back up. If he does, you’ll know right away.

Okay, gotta run and catch a cab. I left my car at the surfing headquarters last night after drinking too many Mojito’s at Nobu. And, it’s “Surf Time”.

Peace,

J-Mo

Friends, Help Me TOPPLE THE GURUS!

I really need a little help from my friends at the moment. And you can help. If you do, I’m gonna reciprocate big time!

I’m trying to get as many leads as possible to this page so I can topple the same guys that crush every affiliate contest…

http://www.masscontrolgift.com

You see, I wanna crush all the big top guru’s in Frank’s latest launch. But I have one huge disadvantage. My mailing list is only about 6500 people.

Compare that against most of these guys with 100,000 and it’s hardly a competition. They wipe the floor with me most of the time. Well, not this time. I’m out to prove that the little guy can beat the Goliaths like Mike Filsaime, Stompernet, Ed Dale, John Reese, Eben Pagan, Shawn Casey, Rich Schefren and all those dudes that consistently crush it with these launches.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m friends with all those dudes. It’s just a friendly competition. But it’s also to prove a very serious point about the relationships you have with your list. I’m pretty confident I can give these guys a run for their money even though my lists are micro in size compared to theirs.

But I couldn’t do it without my friends.

And if you help me, I’m going to do something special, and quite crazy too.

I’m going to broadcast a live Ustream show for 24 CONSECUTIVE HOURS! (But, I need your help).

Please watch the short video below that explains how you can help out…

… and here’s the page where my friends are Twittering, blogging, emailing, and posting in forums about…

http://www.masscontrolgift.com

(The cool thing is, anyone you send there will be very appreciative because Frank is giving away the farm. So it’s kinda like helping me, helping your contacts, and helping yourself spread some good will.) Anyhow, here’s the video…

Cheers,

Jason
