Resolutions SUCK! Try a New Years Solution

Words are very powerful. Many of us are totally addicted to heinous words that will seldom do us any good. I’m talking about words that hold us back, words that hypnotize us, and words that magnetize bullshit into your life.

I think “Resolution” may be one of those words.

Fuck the resolution!

Get with the real deal and make it a “SOLUTION”.

Peep the video below and let me know what your New Years Solution is going to be this year in the comments section below…

Merry Everyday-mas!

I use to be really weird about Christmas and Holidays! And I think it’s for good reason. It’s sort of like a Jehovah’s Witness thing combined with my own psychotic philosophy on life. (I don’t expect you to understand).

For sake of ease and non-confrontation I’ve adjusted my stance and beliefs a bit to conform with the normal world.

Now, I just celebrate anything! If you want to celebrate something, I’m down. No real reason is needed, let’s just be festive. So now, I celebrate Christmas with glee, and don’t worry about most of the negative rants I use to burden myself with.

So, let’s be merry and full of Cheer and Beer!

However, why limit it to just Christmas and the New Years?

See the video below as I elaborate…

What’s the worst chic flick you ever saw?

So last night I was forced to sit through a holiday chic flick. It was one of my girlfriends favorite holiday movies so I tried to be a good boyfriend and watch it with her.

It’s also chock full of british actors. Unless it’s Monte Python I’m not usually too fond of British humor. British Rock Music I love, but the humor is not always my thing. However I always did like the originally “Who’s Line Is It Anyway” before they Americanized it.

So the movie we watched was… “Love Actually”.

It wasn’t so bad. In fact, there were a couple stories in the movie that I really liked. But there was one scene that basically wrecked the whole movie and made it so I couldn’t take it very seriously.

The scene was this geeky British guy who was all jazzed about coming to America so he could swoop a bunch of hot girls with his foreign accent in charm. That’s all nice in theory, and heck, it even works on occasion. Most people tend to like others that have different qualities.

But in this scenario, homeboy flies into Wisconsin, and then proceeds to get dropped off at the very first bar in sight. And guess what happens? 4 Freaking hot bombshell hotties swarm him and want to get all up in his jock strap! Puh——lease! In Wisconsin? I know there are some hotties in the WI, but this was a dive bar full of Los Angeles floosies. Way too cheezy. (no pun intended Wisconsin)

I wouldn’t of minded seeing the scene had I been watching a Harold and Kumar movie, but in context with the other stories in the movie it was just plain stupid. Turned a halfway decent chic flick movie into utter trash because of this one British wanker who scores all these hot chics without even exerting effort.

The movie was supposedly about “love” and a few stories really hit that premise very well. But the Euro dude scoring hotties with no effort at all basically negated me giving the movie a positive rating.

There was one story that I really enjoyed though. It was about a couple who couldn’t speak the same language as each other. One Portuguese, and the other English. They fell in love despite not being able to talk. In the end… well, I won’t ruin it for you. But the ending of that story was very ,very good.

So, I’m curious, what’s the worst Chic Flick you ever had to sit through?

And if you are a female, what is the worst Man Show you’ve ever had to deal with?

Peace

J-Mo

PS: I was thinking of starting to do a “movie review” thing. Might be kinda fun. Would definitely have to be video though.

Black Friday Walmart Phone Pranks

My buddy Kyle sent me this link to a funny video where a dude hijacks Walmart’s customer service phone and starts to totally mess with the callers dialing in for assistance. Classic! Reminds me of when I was a kid and would get on the intercom of Fred Meyer’s store and announce customer specials over the phone. Ah, good times.

Anyhow, these calls are ridiculous. You’re bound to laugh a few times. Check it out…

Roller Skating – Rewind 14 Years

Came across some old tapes in the boxes while moving and slapped together a little video ditty for you to check out.

The year… 1994, 5 Hi-Fiving White Guys shred Skate World heavily under the influence of… fun times! Half of the crew got kicked out before even making it in the door.

Anyone remember “couple skating”? That kicked ass!

First sleep in the new digs

So I just awoke about 2 hours ago after the first sleep in the new digs. Peering out my balcony of the master bedroom is quite a serene thing. Seeing the glassy waves at Ponto beach and only 4 surfers in the water is one damn pretty view. I really think I’m gonna dig this place.

The neighborhood is quite, the views spectacular, and the house feels very peaceful. We had looked at a few other homes in this sub division and they didn’t feel nearly as warm as this one. I’m really pumped.

So, for one last day I have the place to myself as a bachelor pad. Tomorrow, Kami moves all her stuff down from L.A. Then, it’s operation “Grown Up Secrets” and “Leave It To Beaver Land”. (She keeps me on my toes let’s say, which is a good thing)

Last night I took my assistant out to dinner at Benihana, which is just up the road. It’s a cool joint where the chef’s do all kinds of twirly maneuvers with their knives and spatula’s as they grill up your food right in front of you and a table of spectators. It was actually the first time in my life I think I willingly ordered some sushi rolls. It was so-so. The Sappora 22 ounce, now that was heaven.

The entire move only took 5 hours, and $350 from some killer dudes on Craigslist. Hiring movers is probably some of the best money ever spent. No back aches today :)

Then, once we arrived the cable guy showed up perfectly on time and got all my cable boxes dialed in, and most importantly… we had internet up and rolling before 4 o’clock. We were back in business in no time!

I can’t wait to get the office unpacked, set up a new desk arrangement, and get back into the swing so we can unveil the new stuff at profitmoffatt.com. We are almost there.

Anyhow, I’m still laying in bed and enjoying the breath-taking views. It’s probably time to get up and tackle my tasks for the day. I’ve been neglecting the blog the last week or so, but gonna try to make a conscious effort to heat it up! Maybe I’ll run some sort of contest. Oh yeah, and I got a twitter video to film. Maybe I’ll do that today too.

Peace
