Hey folks,

Whew, what a week. I just got back into town after spending a bit of time in Los Angeles for Eben Pagan’s “Get Altitude” seminar and a bit of “Get Loose” time.

Get loose time is basically closing down the bar every night, partying like a rock star, and making sure you are having more fun then humanly possible. For instance, stealing a 5th of Jack Daniels Whiskey from Neil Strauss’s liquor cabinet just because we wanted something to drink in the cab for the ride back to the hotel could be lumped into “Get Loose Time”.

I could go on and on about the crazy shenanigans of the week. It’s probably wise not too though. Amazingly, I actually did do a bit of work and networked my ass off. Some great things were set into place for the near future, and hopefully you will be able to take advantage of them.

If you are a regular reader of my blog you know that I’ve been busting my tail on a product called “Easy Video Sales”. I’ve been teasing people all month saying I’m going to launch any day. Sorry guys. Truth is, I’m just minutes away from pushing the “publish” button and letting this thing go live. I just have a few personal issues around the house to get in order and we will be live and taking orders.

I could go live tonight, but think Wednesday may be the magic day.

My new fee is $300 an hour for personal 1 on 1 time. I’m sorry if this feels steep to you, but I have to put a price on my time. I have no other option, otherwise I lose cash. And for some situations, this fee is a steal to some of you. You know who you are.
So please don’t take offense if I ever have forgot to reply to your message or email. I didn’t mean it personally and it’s just too time consuming to reach everyone.

However, I’ve decided to do something remarkable with my Easy Video Sales group over the next year. If you get in during the next month or so, you’ll be part of my new “Video Mastermind Group” and will have access to me for the full year. No $300 hourly fees, or sending emails that get no reply.

All Easy Video Sales members will get direct access to me in the “Mastermind Section” and will have the opportunity to meet and greet with others in the community. This is my way of giving attention to those that really need it, and step up and take action.

A couple of years ago I turned on my Dell desktop computer and decided I was going to venture into the world of Internet Marketing. I knew almost nothing about marketing or selling things on the internet with the exception of a few Ebay listings.

By a sheer stroke of magic, I somehow landed upon www.thegaryhalbertletter.com that day. Stumbling upon Gary’s site dramatically changed my life almost instantaneously and I never looked back.

Gary’s letters were extremely riveting to me. They read like a Stephen King novel, with fluidity and suspense. I just couldn’t pull my eyes away from each of Gary’s writings. What Jimi Hendrix was to the Fender Stratocaster, Gary Halbert was to a Bic Pen. He was a legend like no other and I feel extremely grateful that I somehow had the luck to land on his site that day. It forever changed my life.

Over the next few months I began printing out Gary’s letters and would read them over and over again. While hunkered down on surveillance gigs inside my Ford Aerostar spy van, I would supply myself with tons of Halberts material. I’m sure my corporate clients would of just loved to hear that I was submerging myself into Gary’s copywriting wisdom while I was supposed to be keeping a watchful eye on some insurance fraud cheater.

I fondly remember one weekend where I spent hours upon hours reading, and rereading “The Boron Letters” while crammed into the back of the van. The whole time I kept wishing that my father had spent the time to teach me something like Gary taught his son Bond. I actually got lost in the letters and somehow felt as if I was Gary’s son while reading them.

It didn’t take long and I ditched that job as a private dick. After soaking up wisdom from Gary and a few select mentors I realized I had the talent to write my own ticket to wealth. Never again would I need to rely on anybody for a job. I could simply pick up a pen and create income. I truly believed this and didn’t let anybody tell me otherwise.

About a year went by and I was finally blessed to meet Gary in person at Frank Kern and Ed Dale’s Underachiever seminar in sunny San Diego. Later that night we enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Barbarella’s in La Jolla and something miraculous happened.

I was enjoying some nice conversation with Gary’s right hand man Sam and this other dude sitting next to him. We got to chatting really fast and had not even shared names yet. I paused the conversation and introduced myself to this unknown character. He said his name was Bond.

Holy shit I thought! I lived vicariously through this guy in the back on my van. I told him the story about how I actually felt like I was Bond while reading his fathers famous Boron Letters. Bond and I got along very well and enjoyed earfuls of conversation throughout the night. Meeting Gary and Bond that day will forever be imprinted into my mind. I cherish the opportunity that I had that night to spend a wee bit of time with Gary. It’s too bad there won’t be another dinner like that night.

Gary will be more then missed. There is no way to replace his absence. Nothing can be uttered to make this pain go away that so many people feel right now. Even though I barely knew the guy, it feels like someone has kicked me square in the gut, and I don’t expect the feeling to go away any time soon.

I want to express my deepest sympathy to Gary’s family and friends. This guy has touched so many of us, and he will never be forgotten. If it were not for Sir Gary Halbert, The Prince of Print, I may still be working my ass off for the man.

Thank you Gary for helping me to see the light. I’ll forever be grateful for your existence.

That’s right, Mr. Jeff Walker has totally swiped me!

I’m sure many of you have seen how Jeff Walker does “Case Studies” about how people have successfully used his Product Launch Formula. You’ve all seen those right?

Well if not, here’s one of the latest case studies where he interviews my friends Pat and Mellisa about their latest product launch.

After seeing that video I realized that Jeff has now done a double swipe of my style. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not mad or anything. In fact, I’m thrilled that Jeff’s case studies have been so successful.

Here’s the story…

A few months back I was at one of the Underachiever Seminars and Jeff and I were sharing a beverage in the bar. Jeff had mentioned that he saw me interviewing people on the Undies iPack website and realized how powerful these “Real World Interviews” were. Shortly later, Product Launch Case studies came into effect.

And they were hot! You had a chance to see real people with real results from product launches, and most of the time these launches did not occur in the “making money” fields. They usually were from average hobby niches that you might not expect to make a bunch of money.

So, after Jeff swiped my “Mad Interview Styles” he also swiped another one of my undercover methods. That method is called “Totally Blowing It”.

You see, if you go to the Undies iPack page you will see me interviewing a great dude by the name of Randy Pryor (who also was featured in a Product Launch Case Study). In the beginning of the interview, I totally spaced Randy’s name. My mind went blank. But instead of deleting that part and making the video all professional, the editor decided to leave the mistake in.

Folks, listen up here because this is a big lesson! Sometimes mistakes are good. In this instance, it’s obvious that my mistake was a simple brain fart and it was harmless. In fact, it was a bit funny. The video appears totally real, and very natural because we left the mistake intact instead of deleting it out and trying to be to slick about it.

Well, Jeff Walker has done the same thing. Double Swipe I tell ya.

Things don’t always have to be perfect, and often it’s best when things have blemishes and mistakes. We are all human, and errors are inevitable. Exposing these errors and faults can often help us resonate with other people who all make the same type of mistakes as well.

Dear Marketers,

It’s easy for us to get caught up in the latest and greatest super marketing courses that come out each few months. Many of us shell out $500 to $10,000 for marketing information, and often the investment is well worth it.
