Fiverr – What would you do for five bucks?

Last night I was checking my Twitter stream and I saw my buddy Travis aka Blink First post this update…

fiverr

This site Fiverr Rules

So I went over to the site to check it out. Hot diggity is this site cool.

Fiverr is a website dedicated to people who are willing to do all kinds of random stuff for just $5. Yep, only five dollars.

Within 5 minutes of being on the site, I had already Paypal’d a guy $5 to complete a task for me. I’m happy to report back that the guy held up his end of the bargain, and came through just like his ad said.

I think today I’m going to blow $100 on a bunch of random stupid stuff like having a woman write my ladies name in the sand, getting a self portrait of myself sketched out, have a guy say whatever I want in a cool English accent, and who knows what else?

Anyhow, check out this site because it’s really interesting to see what people are willing to do for $5. The site is…

Peace

    Hey Jason,

thanks for sharing this great website´s service with us. Cool stuff and one wouldn´t expect such amazing things people will do for 5 bucks. No need to outsource everything to the Philipines here.

    Have a great day

It is an awesome idea for a site. There are many people out there that have something to offer but no way to let the world know about it.
This site sums up the true essence and value of the internet. The internet is evolving in such an interesting and productive way.

The site has a page rank of 5, how apt.

Apart from that, amazing how cheaply people will do things for.

Like the MIT student tutoring you in basic chemistry.

Yep, I just discovered this site a few days ago too, after Joel Comm posted about it.

Ever since I have been hunting through it and “wasting” a lot of time. :)

Jason – you’re right about Fiverr being really cool.

My wife put me on to the site a few weeks ago and since then I’ve been using it to generate paying clients for myself.

I do a small project for 5 bucks initially so they can test the waters with me. They see what a great job that I do and come back to me willing to pay my regular price for the service.

I have 4 projects out there right now with people emailing me to do Internet Marketing related stuff for them all the time.

It’s an AWESOME source for leads and landing clients.

    Great recommendation!

Jason, I’ve seen this site in the let’s exploit the f*ck out of these f*cks for my own gain in the IM world.

Nice to see you’re doing it for fun stuff. Hell, maybe even get work done for you but super glad to see it’s for fun stuff front end & not biz first.

No wonder you crush it online!
