I haven’t tried foursquare yet but I will after reading this. I have been using Gowalla with some success. I will be in Vegas this weekend for the affiliate Summit and I wanted to know which app to use while I’m there. So I guess I will test both.

Also thanks for sharing about foursquare, When I first saw the name I thought it was the church/missionary thing! I learn something new everyday.

My second favorite places to eat … hmm, tough question. Maybe Yen Ha on Sandy Blvd. Vietnamese place, hardly vegan at all. Casa Diablo was a joke. However, I still give them half a thumbs up for a half assed attempt.

Blossoming Lotus was great too. Amazed that the NW location didn’t survive. Portlanders are weird about supporting good stuff. Really weird.

Great reviews Jason! Thank you for posting. It sounds like Papa G’s is your favorite place. They make the best food in town!

What was your second favorite? How was Blossoming Lotus? We are lucky to have so many delicious gourmet vegan restaurants in Portland.

I’ve never gone to Casa Diablo because it gets the worst reviews ever. They say ‘Vegan Strip Club’ but the food is nothing but deep fried tater tots and gross Boca burgers, yuck!

Now and again we try the vegan thing here it works for a while but the thought of peperoni pizza seems to break the trend. Love juicing though.

Used Foursquare some but never Gowalla, I think after your testing I will stick with Foursquare. plenty of places to use it here in Las Vegas. Hope to hook-up for at least a handshake when you get here, a photo opt would be cool for posting on blogs and facebook. Tried to hook up with you way back at Launch Tree but I guess you were on your way to Marshall Sylver’s Palace.
