JMoFo – love it dude, I always block / unsubscribe the negative nellys – have no room or time for negativity.

I have fired clients from my gym as well if they are pains or their parents give me headaches.

Why shouldn’t we live and love to the fullest? It’s our right

Three things.

1. I like this part:

…because I think many people think that they have to be positive 24/7. This is a problem for 2 reasons:

a) They’re denying parts of themselves that they need to work on, or

b) They’ll never know what true bliss feels like because they have nothing to contrast it to.

That’s something I’ve really worked on a lot myself. For example, I used to not listen to any kind of music that was negative at all, because I didn’t want to surround myself with that stuff.

Now I see that it’s imperative to identify with all types of feelings. In moderation, I guess, but not living in some kind of bubble.

2) You never cease to crack me up.

3) I thought of you yesterday. I was eating at some fast food Chinese place and there were all different types of people there – different incomes, etc.

I was by myself and people watching, and a Jordin Sparks (pop singer) song came on.

Different people from different tables were singing, and it was awesome to watch. A shy little Hispanic girl was playing her Gameboy or whatever and singing… a mother was singing… it was just awesome and I thought of how you said music brings everyone together.

It was awesome. =)

You are right on man!

I used to stuff whiners and complainers in a box and fold that box up and set it on fire!

Instead, now I just ignore them and focus on positive stuff…

Changing to that mindset has given me more of something that is worth much more than money…a higher quality lifestyle.

Great post. I tend to be a positive person and am very careful not to get into rants either online or in person, but of course like all of us I do find mysef occasionally drifting over to the dark side.

I really liked your comments about getting excited when you see poor marketing. I find that there is nothing more exciting then looking at a niche and seeing that no one in that niche is competition.

Actually, that’s not true there are other things that I find more exciting, but we’re talking about marketing here
