Today I decided to finally check out the Sandy Ridge Trail System right by my house. It’s kind of hard for me to believe that I’ve been back home for 10 months and still haven’t rallied this spot.

I got my bike fixed the other day and decided to finally give it a try. And today was my lucky day because it was Demo Day with a few bike companies offering loaner bikes. I decided to demo the Santa Cruz 5010 Carbon bike. The thing was a beast! I’ve never ridden anything like it and now I’m going to have a hard time going back to my own bike.

I get the feeling my bank account is about to be $5000 lighter very soon. Anyhow, I strapped on a Go Pro camera and filmed my first ride down the trail called “Hide and Seek”.
