3 Groovy Christmas Gift Ideas

Christmas shopping isn’t always the easiest thing to accomplish for many of us. If you are anything like me, you wait until the last minute and find yourself scouring the mall on Christmas Eve with about 50,000 other procrastinators wandering the aisles back and forth wondering what you should buy your loved ones.

Before settling on that lame candle, or some thoughtless gift card here’s 3 ideas that are sure to make the recipients grin from ear to ear.

1. The Kindle Family

The Kindle Family

Encouraging others to read and learn is never a bad option. The Kindle is an incredible option for a gift and considering the fact you can grab your hands on one for as low as $79. Right now you can buy someone an awesome electronic gift without breaking the bank!

If you’ve never read on a Kindle before, you are missing out. They are revolutionizing how content is being consumed, and clearing a ton of space on the bookshelves and landfills. The only downfall I see is they are also putting some bookstores out of business, but hey, the times they are a changing.

Reading on a Kindle is easy on the eyes, very convenient and I’ve found that I actually read much more because it seems quicker than reading a tangible book. Maybe it’s because there is often less words on a page and they are spaced out a bit more, so I tend to breeze through the pages.

Anyhow, there are 3 different options of the Kindle. You have….

A. The Kindle: Popular Science says…

“I can’t think of a single other gadget that costs less than $100 that I’d actually recommend,
which makes the new Kindle just about the best Christmas gift out there.” – Popular Science

B. The Kindle Touch: Here’s a few reviews…

“The Kindle Touch felt instantly intuitive to use, and I’m not even someone who’s great with gadgets.
I definitely think EasyReach will make it more comfortable to read in bed, which is important to me.” – EW.com

“The real feature to remember the Kindle Touch by is the new “X-ray” functionality that allows
you to select a page and instantly have a Wikipedia page pop-up with all the info you could ever
want on important words or subjects on any given page.” – Gadgetsteria

X-ray is a godsend when you have put a book down for a while and forget who the players are –
even if the book includes a section for cast of characters, pop-up trumps look-up every time.” – Wired

C. The Kindle Fire: The best Kindle on the market…

“The Kindle Fire is a 7-inch tablet that links seamlessly with Amazon’s impressive collection of
digital music, video, magazine, and book services in one easy-to-use package. It boasts a great
Web browser, and its curated Android app store includes most of the big must-have apps
(such as Netflix, Pandora, and Hulu). The Fire has an ultra-affordable price tag, and the screen
quality is exceptional for the price.” – CNET

2. Give The Gift Of Guitar Lessons

Totally Guitars

Totally Guitars

It seems almost everyone I know has a guitar in their closet collecting dust just begging to be played. For some reason, those guitar lessons purchased years ago never materialized into the dreams of shredding like Eddie Van Halen though. Hey, I’m that same guy. 16 years after picking up a guitar I’m still struggling in learning to strum some new tunes.

However, I’ve been digging into this site called Totally Guitars and it’s such a incredible learning tool. Not only is the teacher Neil Hogan a phenomenal instructor who makes learning guitar easy, the community at Totally Guitars is phenomenal. I’ve never seen a site as interactive and enjoyable as this one.

So, if you have a loved one who you know would like to pick up the guitar again or advance their skills, I can’t think of a cooler gift then getting them access to my favorite guitar lesson site on the internet. No matter what their skill level, Totally Guitars is perfect for all people wanting to progress their guitar skills.

They even have a ton of FREE lessons if you don’t want to fork out the cash for the paid membership. The best deal by far is the Target program which gives you access to everything which includes hundreds and hundreds of lessons. Or you can purchase package deals that allow you to learn from your favorite artists. Or, you can just enjoy the FREE lessons that Neil and the team have put together.

Make WP Easy

Make WP Easy

One of the coolest and most thoughtful gifts I can think of giving someone is building them a website or blog. The easiest way to do this is with WordPress. If you don’t know how to use WordPress, don’t worry. It’s really simple. Even I can use it. In fact, this blog here is on WordPress and it’s a cinch. However, there are a few simple learning curves and my buddy Ori makes it super simple to learn in his training videos in MakeWPEasy!

Stoke a loved one out this holiday season with their own website and blog! They’ll love you forever.

And here’s the best part… once you learn how to use WordPress it can become a stable income stream in multiple ways. You can set up more blogs of your own to promote products, or you can create blogs for others as a freelancer and charge $100 to $1000 or more per custom blog. It’s one of the easiest ways to create some stable income.

So, if you want to learn WordPress and make it easy, I know of nothing better to get you started today than Ori’s www.MakeWPEasy.com

Cheers, Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas or Merry whatever it is you celebrate.

Great Deal For You Because Of Mexican Dentist

If you’ve read my blog for any amount of time or keep up with me on any of the social media sites, then you’ve probably heard me mention my buddy Couch Surfing Ori a time or two.

ATTENTION: Ori wants to give you a FREE 15 minute consultation on anything you need in your business. My advice = Take him up on this offer. Please keep reading.

I first met Ori about a year ago when I invited him to surf my couch in Carlsbad California. I was about to embark on a road trip across the United States and figured prying into his brain and experience would be a worthy way to prepare myself before leaving on the trip.

Ori had tons of stories and advice for me. It was really helpful.

Since then, I’ve traveled to Mardi Gras with Ori and even let him stay in my La Jolla beach house while dog sitting my best friend Webber. There’s not too many people in the world whom I’d trust with my best friend for over a month.

Anyhow, when I first me Ori I didn’t know exactly what he did to make a living while on the road. The title “Couch Surfer” kind of implies lazy bum and I was curious how he kept himself afloat while going from one adventure to the next. What I learned was that Ori has some amazing skills as a photographer, Photoshop whiz, website developer, writer, problem solver and telling really stupid jokes. I mean atrociously stupid jokes. However, I’d rather hear a stupid joke than somebody bitching about their problems all the time.

And that’s one thing I like about Ori. He doesn’t bitch, whine or complain. He has a good outlook on life and has an ability to magnetize the things he needs into his world at just the right time. It can scary and dangerous from some people to live the way Ori does, but I admire his balls and determination to get the most out of life.

So, recently Ori took a trip to Mexico to see a dentist. I told him Tijuana wasn’t as safe as it used to be but he didn’t listen. And the idea of getting dental work in Tijuana seems a bit scary doesn’t it? But hey, Ori is a gambler. He even once played “Bull Poker” with a real live bull. Crazy dude.

Anyhow, Ori has some major dental bills piling up and wants to find some work to pay it off. What I admire about Ori and why I am writing this blog post is this… Instead of bitching about mounting bills and pain in his teeth, he’s just asking people what he can do to help them, so in return he can get his teeth dealt with.

He doesn’t mooch off people and is always willing to throw in a lending hand. That’s a trait that is far to uncommon nowadays.

So, Ori asked me if I knew anybody who needed some help with their business, graphics, websites or couch cushions getting too stiff? I told him I’d throw up a blog and ask my subscribers.

Ori is willing to give you a FREE 15 minute consultation to see if he can help you in any way.

His expertise is…

Photography – (He is a brilliant photographer. I mean amazing)
Graphics – (He can make any photo gleam like you never imagined)
Website Building – (It’s not his favorite thing to do, but he can build you a killer website
Problem Solving and Business Advice – (Ori is a out of the box kind of thinker. He can come up with incredible ways to help you move your business in directions you may of never thought before).

So my advice, is take up Ori on this FREE 15 Minute Consult by visiting… http://www.couchsurfingori.com/blog/remember-seven-minutes-in-heaven-this-is-way-better/

Cheers,

Jason
