Detox – Cleanse – Day 1: Is Eating Meat Murder?

cleanse, detox, is eating meat murder?, vegan, veganism, vegetarian

Today I’m starting upon a new detox/cleanse. I’m not sure how long it will take place. I reckon it will be a couple of weeks, but I’m hoping it will have residual affects that will last a lifetime.

I want to start off by saying I’m not a health expert, nutritionalist, or someone who tries to persuade others to live as I do. I’m sharing this journey for a few reasons…

1. To hold myself accountable and keep myself on track.
2. To share my stories and transformations with others.
3. To inspire people to seek out vibrant health.

My goals for the cleanse are…

1. To eliminate as much waste as possible.
2. To replenish my cells.
3. To connect with god.
4. To open myself to unconditional love.
5. To get off drugs and alcohol.

I plan on this being a pretty intense cleanse so I’m taking it slowly, step by step. I’m in no rush. So, the first priority of business for me is to decide whether or not I’m a murderer?

Pretty tough question hey!

Cheers,

Jason

  1. Always good to see you eating properly and not partying constantly. As far as red meat goes, once in a while is okay. You have a lot of people pulling for you Mo.I rarely eat red meat and at the most eat fish, whole grains and fibrous veggies and greens daily.

And I do realize a lot of people ask you to party and drink your face off constantly, but you have to have the will to say no.There’s not much to it more than that and doing more constructive things, and yes working a little more. My little jab at you. And yes I still drink beer weekly. That’s my vice but not to extremes.

I’m pushing 50 and know that health and emotional well being is what’s at stake, and helping people Mo. I help musicians in my life and that’s my cause to help the world, which may mean nothing.

It’s okay to party once in a while Mo. But I know you have close friends who are willing to help you stay the course on eating helathy. As far as being a murderer? Not much you can do to prevent the slaughter of animals we continue to eat.

I may never meet you Mo,but I know you’ve helped many people become better people, create more value online in their business and have a better attitude towards life.

    Sincerely, Canadian Guitar Player Dude

  2. Jason.

    Your video appears sincere.

    But I call bullsh-t.

    Here’s why.

If you *really* felt like eating meat was murder…

You’d cease doing business with murderers.

So unless… and this is a big unless…

Unless you’re willing to no longer support those who eat meat…

Then you’re choosing to do business with murderers.

This is going to start creating tension in your subconscious mind…

If eating meat is murder, then those who eat meat are murderers.

Do you want to be friends with murderers?

Do you want to profit alongside murderers?

    Careful…

You might be creating more toxicity in your life without realizing it.

    1. I have patience and faith in people and recognize not everyone is perfect, nor thinks the way I do. I’m not here to judge others, but to do my best and serve as an example for those who feel inspired to follow along. Everyone has faults. I’d rather not give up on them instead of turning my back on them.

  3. Bonjour Jason!

I’ve been following your *adventures* — off and on — ever since I joined my first 30 day challenge… I think it was in 2006 (not sure… but pretty sure). Don’t want to sound like an old aunt, but I must say you’ve “grown” into quite a beautiful human being. So proud to have gotten to know you and witness the transformation from crazy young dude to crazy young hin-dude 😉

A vegetarian since 1993 (I’m 61), I’ve been thinking about going off dairy products and eggs for many years because, yeah, the industry is mean to our cow friends and chicken friends also. Watching your video and feeling your pain, it just might be time for me to stop making excuses and to go vegan myself.

Merci beaucoup for the inspiration and the really really REALLY good vibes.

    LOVE
    Mudd
    xoxo
